Q: When should I call to schedule my newborn photo session?
A: Please call at the beginning of your third trimester so we have ample time to schedule a consultation and plan your session
Q: Where do the sessions take place?
A: Newborn sessions take place at the studio in Pomona NY. Other types of sessions such as child/family portraits can be done outdoors or at your home.
Q: How long is a newborn session?
A: Generally newborn sessions last between 2-3 hours. There will be plenty of time to feed and change baby as needed without feeling rushed.
Q: Do you offer other types of sessions?
A: Yes! I specialize in newborn, child, and family portraiture. If you are interested in something but aren't sure if it fits into these categories please reach out to me and I'll let you know if it's something I can do.
Q: How many pictures will I get?
A: Every session is customized to your goals. At the consultation we'll discuss what you plan to do with the images. If you are looking for a perfect family portrait to hang above the mantle, then that's what I will shoot for. If you are interested in an album we'll make sure to get enough variety and family combinations to fill an album. On average you will have 20-30 images to choose from.
Q: How long will it take to see my pictures?
A: Within 2 business days I will post a sneak peek on social media for you to see and share. The rest of the images you will see in person back at the studio within 2 weeks. At this appointment you will be viewing your images and placing your order.
Q: What is the viewing and ordering appointment?
A: The viewing and ordering appointment will take place within 2 weeks of your session. It is done at the studio. You will see a slideshow of your images and then I will guide you through the process of selecting your favorites and choosing the appropriate products and sizes. For wall art I use software in which I upload a picture of your room, and then can actually place your images on the wall so you can visualize what it will look like in your home in different sizes and framing options.
It is important that all decision makers be present at this meeting since this is the time to make final decisions regarding your order.
Q: What kind of products do you offer?
A: I believe that your family portraits should be enjoyed every day! Therefore my focus is definitely on wall art, so that every time you pass by you will smile as you see the love and connection captured in these portraits. I offer handmade gallery wrapped canvas, and custom framing. I also offer folio boxes, albums, birth announcements, and desktop acrylics.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: As a fine art photographer I offer products that are heirloom quality and will last a lifetime. My pricing model is a la carte, which means you choose only what you want. On average clients invest upwards of 1500. We will go over more detailed pricing at the consultation.
Q: Will I get digital copies of the images?
A: Complimentary digital files are included with qualifying purchases. Starting at Investments > 1200.
